Privacy policy

This policy covers the AI Took My Job Discord application (the “App”) and this website. The App is run by the officers of the AI Took My Job guild (“we”, “us”). It exists to help a small gaming guild organize itself in its own Discord server. It is not a commercial product.

What we collect

When you interact with the App in a Discord server where it is installed, Discord provides it with the information needed to respond. Depending on the features in use, the App may store:

• Your Discord user ID, username, display name and avatar.
• Your server membership, roles and nickname in servers where the App is installed.
• The content of commands and interactions you send to the App, and messages in channels it has been explicitly configured to read.
• Information you choose to give it, such as in-game character names, classes, professions and availability.

This website itself collects nothing beyond what is needed to serve it. It has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. If you sign in with Discord to use member features, a session cookie keeps you signed in. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses for security and operational purposes under its own privacy policy.

Why we collect it

We use this information only to provide the App’s features: recognizing members, keeping track of who plays what, organizing groups and events, and answering commands. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to build profiles for any purpose beyond running the guild.

Who can see it

Information the App stores is visible to the guild’s officers and, where a feature is designed to show it, to other members of the same Discord server. We do not share it with third parties except the services needed to run the App, such as Discord itself and our hosting provider.

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as it is useful for running the guild. When you leave the server, or when the App is removed from a server, related data is deleted within thirty days, except where a short backup retention period applies.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what the App holds about you, correct it, or delete it. Ask any officer in the guild’s Discord server. We will act within thirty days. You can also remove the App’s access at any time through your Discord settings, and you can stop using it at any time.

Children

The App is intended for people who meet Discord’s minimum age requirement in their country. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger than that. If you believe we have, tell an officer and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the guild’s Discord server.
